Meetings don't have to be the "same old'" - getting together can be a time to grow, be together, and express appreciation. Free People Marketing worked with their client to develop a live event for their staff as a means to reconnect and say thanks.
Sara Ericsson sits down with Nicole Langille, Marketing Strategist & Event Production Expert and meeting organizer to talk about her experience meeting live and face-to-face.
“The client came to me and said that they really wanted to do something in person and wanted to treat their employees – that it was time, since they had been working back in the office but hadn’t been together, all together, in quite a while.”
“We’re starting to tire of the virtual meetings, and you just can’t get the same kind of energy, virtually, that you can in person. Connection is really important, and I think as we come through this, people are really going to start to want to get together more and more, but of course in a very safe way.”
“[The Venue] is doing a fantastic job. I’m very impressed with their service, and their attention to detail around safety.”
“The client wanted to be sure everything was completely safe and following protocols, so that’s why they engaged a professional to produce the meeting for them.”
“I think we’re really going to start to see a surge of people wanting to get together in smaller groups. It’s important to connect one-on-one.”
